How the quiz works
The quiz draws on a framework of 48 values across 4 categories, the same framework at the heart of Start With Values. Rather than handing you the full list and asking you to circle favorites, it works the way real life does: by trade-off. You choose between values, again and again, and your priorities reveal themselves in the pattern of your choices.
That design matters. Ask someone to rate how much they value kindness and nearly everyone rates it highly. Ask them to choose between kindness and achievement, or security and adventure, and something more honest happens. The values you keep protecting when you can’t keep everything are your core values.

How accurate is it?
The quiz uses structured choices and trade-offs rather than self-ratings. Instead of asking you to score yourself on honesty (everyone scores high), it asks you to choose between values, one pair at a time. What you keep choosing under pressure is a far more honest signal of what you actually value.
What happens with my results?
